Cote d’Ivoire to Host 2027 ACA Annual Cashew Conference and Expo
Côte d’Ivoire has been announced as the host of the 2027 edition of the African Cashew Alliance (ACA) Annual Cashew Conference and Expo.
This announcement was made by the Vice President of the ACA Board of Directors, Mr. Boubacar Konta, at the closing ceremony and Gala Dinner of the 2026 ACA Annual Cashew Conference and Expo on Thursday, 17th September 2026, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The Conference, scheduled for September 2027, will be the 20th Edition of the ACA Annual Cashew Conference and Expo since its inception in 2006.
Cote d’Ivoire, the world’s largest cashew producing country, will host the Conference for the third time, bringing the global cashew community to one of the industry’s most important producing and processing hubs.
“After such a remarkable Conference in Ghana, it is fitting that our next destination will be the world’s biggest cashew producer. Beyond RCN production, Cote d’Ivoire has made significant progress in local processing. We believe hosting the 2027 Conference there will present a unique opportunity to reflect on several lessons from the country,” Mr. Konta said.
In his acceptance address, the representative of the Director General of the Conseil Coton Anacarde Karité (CCAK), Mr. Simplice GUE, expressed appreciation to the Board and Management of the ACA, on behalf of the actors and stakeholders in Cote d’Ivoire for entrusting the country with the 20th edition of the Conference.
“Cote d’Ivoire is ready to welcome the cashew world once again. Together with our partners and the government, we will put all the necessary measures in place to host a successful and historic conference next year,” he assured.
With Cote d’Ivoire set to host its third ACA Conference, it will join Benin and Mozambique as countries that have hosted the ACA Annual Cashew Conference and Expo on three occasions since the Conference began
The ACA’s Annual Cashew Conference and Expo is held in various cashew-producing countries across Africa, bringing together stakeholders from across the global cashew value chain. The Conferences, generally held in September, features learning forums, practical sessions, business -to-business meetings, exhibitions and field visits.
The 2026 edition, held in Accra, Ghana, brought together 520 participants from 29 countries. The 2027 Conference will mark another milestone as the ACA Conference reaches its 20th edition.
