Cajou Espoir
Cajou Espoir is a cashew processing company headquartered in Togo. Cajou Espoir was founded in 2004 by two Togolese entrepreneurs with a vision to alleviate poverty in rural areas of West Africa.
The company processes raw nuts and exports cashew kernels in Africa, Europe and the United States. Cajou Espoir operates two factories, located in Tchamba and Blitta. The company employs over 800 people today. Cajou Espoir is organic (Ecocert) certified since 2019 and obtained the Fairtrade certification in 2020. Beyond job creation, Cajou Espoir fulfills its social mission by designing, funding and implementing development projects jointly with community leaders and Cajou Espoir employees.
