Benin 2024

The African Cashew Alliance (ACA) has since 2006 organized seventeen (17) Annual Cashew Conferences & Expo, each of which has brought together more than 300 participants from more than thirty (30) countries around the world to discuss the cashew industry. The ACA Annual Cashew Conference and Expo has so far been held in 9 countries: Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal and Tanzania.

In 2024, Benin, will for the third time, host the 18th ACA Annual Cashew Conference and Expo from 17th to 19th September 2024 at Sofitel Hotel in the city of Cotonou. This year's Conference will be on the theme, Building Capacities for a Sustainable African Cashew Industry. The Conference promises to be insightful, educative, and reflective of the collective roles of industry players towards sustainability. It will feature dynamic speakers and panelists well vest in sustainability issues, building resilient value chains and capacity building.

Benin being the host country offers participants unique opportunities for building and renewing strategic business-oriented partnerships, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. There will also be business-to-business meetings facilitated by the ACA to offer unique opportunities for networking and strategic business partnerships among individuals and organizations. The Conference will host a variety of equipment and product vendors from around the world for a three-day international cashew expo. This offers a great platform for cashew businesses in Africa and beyond to exhibit their cashew and cashew related products and innovations.

In addition to a leisure trip, there will also be a field trip to the Glo-Djibé Industrial Zone for participants who pre-book to see and learn from the new policy of full local processing being put in action by the Government of Benin.
