Visa & Travel
Please plan accordingly to obtain your visa prior to your voyage. If you are a citizen or bear a passport from the following countries, you are exempt from obtaining an entry visa: the Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Mauritius, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania. All other visitors require a valid visa to enter the country. If you will be flying over South Africa, please keep in mind that you will have to obtain a transit visa, therefore we recommend that you plan a different travel route.
To obtain an entry visa:
Visit the nearest Mozambican embassy or consulate. For conference participants whose country does not have a Mozambique diplomatic representation, a visa can be issued upon arrival.
You will be required to provide the following documents (please verify with your country’s Mozambican embassy in advance):
- Completed visa application forms
- Two 2x2 passport size photographs
- Valid and signed passport for 6 months beyond stay
- Yellow Fever Certificate / card
- 3 blank passport pages are required for visa and entry stamps
- Letter-headed invitation from host firm (*ACA will issue a personalized invitation letter to all registered and paid participants)
*ACA will issue a personalized invitation letter (upon request) to submit with your application. In order to benefit from this service, participants must have paid their conference participation fee and provide ACA with all necessary passport information:
- Full name as it appears in passport
- Passport number
- Scanned copy of your passport
- Your travel dates
- Point of entry
- Flight number and airline
