Where will ACA hold its Fifth Annual Conference? Recent events in Mozambique (2007), Tanzania (2008) and Côte d'Ivoire (2009) attracted a growing number of participants and sponsors. 

The ACA Secretariat invites applications from cashew producing countries in Africa to host the next conference in September 2010. 

Deadline for submission of applications is 22 December 2009. The ACA's Executive Committee will announce the venue of the Conference by 15 January 2010. 

It will be guided by the following criteria: 

1. Country: Cannot have hosted an ACA conference in the past two years (i.e. 2009 or 2008) 

2. City, venue: International traffic connection, conference facility quality

3. Significance of cashew for national economy

4. Organizing/national committee in place with focal point for conference

5. Quality of field trips to processing sites, farms, research institutes, ports etc.
